hehe look at you, sporting all the western gear too. You really seemed hooked, and seem to just naturally fit into it. If he gots some speed to him, you should definately try barrels and poles, sooo fun. I personally like poles, but barrels are more popular.
oh he adores attention! I knew this horse before I bought him...the guy never rode him or gave him attention and he was very set back, not sociable and really didnt want anything to do with people. Now he loves the company, loves the attention, and really likes when i handle him. He really is a good boy

haha actually i have always loved dressing western, loved going to rodeos and just love everybit of the western culture. I love the close knit community..the family nature of the rodeo people, and the culture. ive been hooked on western for a long time. I was just the english rider in western clothing...but all of that is about to change you know its funny too, i would go to rodeos and say "oh no i would never barrel race" but now find myself very curious about it, haha. Pole bending is really cool. I think it is a lot more difficult than barrels, i guess thats why they do barrels more, but id love to try it!

It is prolly more difficult since you have to change leads for every pole, and you have little time to react. But barrels are difficult as well. Hard to explain, but it is difficult in its simplicity you could say. I'm better at poles myself, but most people are better at barrels. I'm an odd ball I guess lolz.
